Training-supporting children on the autism spectrum and their families, Alicante, Spain

In May, three passionate professionals from Serbia traveled to Alicante, Spain, to take part in a 7-day Erasmus+ training dedicated to one powerful mission—supporting children on the autism spectrum and their families. The training gathered 25 participants from 9 countries, creating a vibrant, multicultural space where youth workers, educators, and young parents came together to learn, share, and grow. The Serbian team brought valuable local experience and left with new tools, new perspectives, and new connections. Each day was filled with practical workshops, open discussions, and powerful moments of exchange—on inclusion, acceptance, and building stronger support systems for those who need it most. Special attention was given to involving participants who face social or economic barriers, ensuring that the project stayed true to its inclusive values. 💬 “It was more than just training—it was a reminder of why we do what we do,” shared one of the Serbian participants. This Erasmus+ experience didn’t end in Spain. The knowledge, energy, and inspiration will continue in local communities across Serbia, where these professionals are now more prepared than ever to make a difference. #ErasmusPlus #SerbiaForInclusion #AutismSupport #YouthWork #InclusiveCommunities #TogetherForChange #InternationalExperience #AlicanteTrain
